Pistols[]

Beretta 92 FS[]

UWE92F-1

Selene draws one of her full-auto Beretta 92Fs

As in the first Underworld, Selene's primary weapons are a pair of Beretta 92FS pistols that have been converted to full-auto and given compensators to make them more controllable in auto-fire.

At one point in the film, a two-tone Beretta 92FS can be seen in Tanis' arsenal. This one has been fitted with a Beretta M93R-style forward hand grip and flash hider, but it is recognizable as a 92FS due to the slide-mounted safety.

CZ 75[]

UWECZ75-1

A Hungarian policeman holds his CZ 75 on Selene

The Hungarian police that chase Michael and later discover the Vampire safe house where Selene and Michael were staying at, use CZ 75 pistols as their sidearms.

Heckler & Koch USP Match[]

Walther P99[]

P99s

Firing at William with Walther P99s

Selene also once again uses a pair of two-tone Walther P99s fitted with the Walther Laser Modules as her secondary sidearm. She took them from Andreas Tanis's arsenal when she goes to see him in his lair.

UWEP99-5

Selene also uses a standard black P99 when she fights Marcus Corvinus at Pier 17 where Alexander Corvinus's ship is docked, after she takes it from a dead Cleaner.

H&K MP5K

Firing at a dead Lycan with an MP5K

At the beginning of the film, Selene is armed with a Heckler & Koch MP5K when she and Michael go to the Vampire safe house and re-arm. It's the same submachine gun Selene fires at a Lycan before realizing that it is dead.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3[]

UWEMP5-2

Selene takes weapons from the armory in the safe house

Kraven and his men are all armed with Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns when they go to Marcus' tomb to kill him. Also, when Selene and Michael are in the vampire safe house, several more MP5A3s are visible in the armory. Selene takes one of these weapons in her equipment bag, but it never gets used.

Heckler & Koch UMP[]

UWEUMP-2

One of the cleaners with an H&K UMP-45

Some members of Alexander Corvinus' tactical squad, the Cleaners, use Heckler & Koch UMPs as their weapons, in keeping with the Cleaners' apparent preference for Heckler & Koch weaponry. Twice in the film, Selene is also seen wielding UMPs taken from dead Cleaners, first when she fights Marcus at the pier, and later when she fights William in his prison.

Heckler & Koch MP7A1[]

UWEMP7-1

Selene grabbing the Cleaner-turned-Werewolf's MP7A1

The Cleaners also use the Heckler & Koch MP7A1 personal defense weapon. Near the end of the film, after the Cleaners have all been turned into Werewolves, Selene grabs one Cleaner's MP7 while it is still slung on his body and empties it into him at point-blank range.

Kimel AP-9[]

UWEVarious-3

At the top left is a two-tone Kimel AP-9

A two-tone Kimel AP-9 (with a stainless upper receiver/barrel shroud) can be seen in Tanis' arsenal.

Rifles[]

Heckler & Koch G36K[]

UWEG36-5

Samuel stands with his G36K at the ready

Some members of Alexander Corvinus' tactical squad, the Cleaners, usually carry Heckler & Koch G36K carbine assault rifles as their weapon of choice, including their leader, Samuel. In the climax of the film, Selene grabs Samuel's G36K after he's bitten by William and uses it to mow down Cleaner-turned-Werewolves before it runs dry. Another G36K is wielded by Tanis when Selene and Michael go to his monastery prison, and later appears in Selene's hands after she disarms him.

Also, in several flashbacks from the first Underworld, slain Lycans are seen using G36Ks, which was their preferred weapon in that film.

Norinco Type 84S[]

UWEAK-4

One of the Hungarian officers fires his Type 84 at Michael

The Hungarian police officers who chase Michael through the woods are armed with Chinese Norinco Type 84 underfolder assault rifles.

Norinco Type 56-1[]

UWEVarious-1

A cabinet full of AK rifles, mostly likely Type 56s, is visible in the background

Many Norinco Type 56 rifles are visible in the armory cabinet when Marcus visits the Vampire safe house that was seen in the first Underworld film.

Shotguns[]

Remington 870 Express Magnum[]

UWEshot-5

Marcus tries to wrestle the Remington away from Selene

In the climax of the film, Selene wields a Remington 870 Express Magnum, which she unloads into Marcus at point-blank range, to no avail. This weapon also appears in the hands of one of the Cleaners seen on video footage earlier in the film.

Winchester Model 1912[]

UWE12g-2

One of the police officers fires the Winchester shotgun at Michael as he escapes

Several of the Hungarian police officers also carry Winchester Model 1912 riot shotguns, one of which is used by Selene to incapacitate its user by clubbing him with it.

Machine Guns[]

Daewoo K3[]

UWESAW-7

The Lynx gunner opens fire on William

Towards the end of the film, when Selene and the Cleaners have set off to find Marcus, one of the Cleaners uses a modified Daewoo K3 light machine gun. This same machine gun is used by the Cleaner's Lynx Gunner to give cover fire to Selene against William.

Shurikens[]

Shurikens in Evolution

Explosive shurikens

Selene throws a pair of explosive shurikens at William in his prison, but one of them misses and they other only nicks his leg. They get embedded in the ceiling of the prison and explode, causing part of the roof to collapse.

Bladed Weapons[]

Ameliasword

Amelia wielding a silver sword

During the flashback to the year 1202 at the start of the film, the Vampire Elders and Death Dealers are seen wielding silver swords and crossbows at the mountain village.

Underworld evolution1

Selene wielding her silver-plated hunting knife

Selene killed one of Tanis’s Werewolves with a silver-plated hunting knife when entering his monastery.

Ammunitions[]

Tanis was supplying ultraviolet ammunition to the Lycans in exchange for Werewolf bodyguards and other provisions in his monastery. The Cleaners also carried ultraviolet ammunition.

At the beginning of the film, Selene carried silver bullets, before switching to ultraviolet ammunition.

Trivia[]

  • Several close-ups of the Beretta 92FS reveal that they have SGS compensators, whereas the Berettas in the first film had barrel weights. This is because the first Underworld was filmed in Hungary and the full-auto Beretta pistols were supplied by Bapty & Co. (U.K.), whereas Underworld: Evolution was filmed in Canada and had Canadian armorers, so a different set of Berettas had to be used.
  • The muzzle flash, during the car chase when Selene shoots at Marcus at close range, is CGI, because at that range, it would be unsafe to use blanks.
  • Although the Walther P99s are the same configuration as the guns used in the first Underworld, these are, as with the Berettas, a different set of pistols.
    • In a shot, the filed-down lock-up on the exposed tops of the barrels, one of the many modifications made to the prop pistols in order for them to function with blanks.
  • While Selene is shooting at William Corvinus, she reloads her P99s by slamming them together. However, it's never shown how she manages to slide in the magazines when she has a gun in each hand!
  • When Selene takes a Heckler & Koch UMP from a dead Cleaner to shoot at Marcus, for some reason, it is missing its stock.
  • Due to continuity errors, the Hungarian police officers' AKs occasionally switch from the 5.56x45mm Norinco Type 84 underfolder to the similar Norinco Type 56-1, which is the same gun except chambered in 7.62x39mm. This is most obvious when Selene flips one officer over while she's protecting Michael.
