Luka is a female Vampire and one of Sonja's closest friends amongst the Vampire Coven. She is portrayed in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans by Tania Nolan.

Underworld: Rise of the LycansEdit

It is unknown if Luka is part of Sonja's social circle or some form of attendant to her. She expresses silent concern as Sonja stands tormented by the window as her Lycan lover Lucian is being flogged in the courtyard, but it remains unclear if she was already aware of the secret love affair between the two.

After Lucian's escape and Sonja's subsequent arrest, she rides to a clearing by the river where Sonja was to meet with Lucian and informs him that it is certain that Sonja's father, Viktor, knows about the secret relationship and will kill Sonja. It is unknown if Viktor allows Luka to leave the castle to carry this message and, if so, if Luka is aware of this. The Rise of the Lycans novelization implies that Luka holds Lucian personally responsible for Sonja's situation.

In the final battle, Luka is in the Council Chamber with the Vampire Council. As with all the council members, Luka is killed by the Werewolves that break into the chamber.
